About Mainely Danes

Mainely Danes is a family-oriented Great Dane breeding program based in Chula Vista, California. Since 2001, our focus has been raising Great Dane puppies in a home environment where health, temperament, socialization and responsible placement remain important.

Our puppies grow up around everyday household activity, family interaction, children and other pets. We believe those early experiences can play an important role in helping puppies prepare for their future homes.

More Than Two Decades With Great Danes

Our experience with Great Danes began in 2001. Over the years, we have developed a deep appreciation for the breed's size, personality, companionship and unique needs.

Mainely Danes is centered around a family environment rather than a high-volume commercial approach. We want puppies to receive individual attention and become familiar with the normal sounds, routines and interactions found in a home.

We also believe families should have useful information before choosing a Great Dane. Their impressive adult size means nutrition, training, veterinary care, exercise, housing and long-term costs should all be considered before bringing a puppy home.
