Great Dane Puppy Questions
Mainely Danes is based in Chula Vista, California. Local puppy pickup is by confirmed appointment only.
Current puppy prices vary by puppy. Our current listed prices range from $800 to $1,200. The exact price is displayed on each puppy's individual profile.
Puppies leave at 8 weeks of age or older, depending on the individual puppy's readiness and applicable health and travel arrangements.
Our current website includes Blue, Harlequin, Merle, Fawn, Black, Brindle and Mantle Great Danes. Availability changes as puppies are reserved or sold.

Mainely Danes describes its puppies as home-raised in a family environment with exposure to normal household activity, children and other pets.
Yes. Visit the Available Puppies page to browse current puppies. Each puppy has its own clean profile URL with details including Puppy ID, gender, age, color, eye color, price and availability.
Reserving a Great Dane Puppy
The current reservation deposit is $400.
Submitting a reservation form alone does not reserve the puppy. The reservation is confirmed after the required payment has been received and confirmed.
The reservation deposit may be applied to another available puppy according to the terms agreed with Mainely Danes.
Review the Reservation & Refund Policy before submitting payment.
Reservation deposits are generally not redeemable for cash. Exceptions may be considered when there is a reasonable explanation and both parties mutually agree to an alternative arrangement or refund.
The written reservation agreement and Reservation & Refund Policy contain the applicable terms.
Yes. Individual puppy pages provide a Buy Now request option in addition to the reservation and inquiry options.
Puppy Health Questions
Mainely Danes provides a written 2-year health guarantee subject to the complete terms and conditions of the puppy agreement.

Mainely Danes represents its currently listed puppies as AKC registered. Applicable AKC paperwork is supplied with the puppy.
Applicable records may include vaccination information, deworming information, health documentation/certificate, puppy identification and registration paperwork.
Mainely Danes states that health evaluation of breeding dogs includes areas such as hips, cardiac health, eyes and thyroid health.

Getting Your Puppy Home
Yes. Local pickup is available in Chula Vista, California by confirmed appointment only.
A reservation/payment arrangement must be confirmed before a pickup appointment is booked. Walk-ins are not accepted.
Delivery options are available throughout all 50 U.S. states, including Alaska and Hawaii. Mainely Danes does not offer international shipping.
Current options include Delivery Van for $300, Air / Flight Nanny for $450 and Express Air Delivery for $500.

For the $300 Delivery Van option, a crate is not provided and the buyer supplies the required crate. The $500 Express Air Delivery option includes a travel crate.
Payment Questions
Available payment preferences include PayPal, Apple Pay, Chime, Venmo, Cash App, Credit Card, Zelle and other agreed alternatives.
Payment instructions are supplied directly after the puppy request has been reviewed. Sensitive payment credentials are not published on the website.
Mainely Danes currently offers a 5% discount for Chime payment. Confirm the applicable amount before sending payment.
No. Submitting a Reserve, Buy Now or Inquiry form does not itself complete a payment and does not automatically reserve a puppy.
After submitting a request, follow the confirmation instructions and use the puppy's name and Puppy ID when contacting Mainely Danes.
