Duke's Classic Fawn Coloring
Fawn is one of the colors closely associated with the Great Dane.
Duke's coat provides families interested in this classic appearance
with a current male puppy option rather than simply a general example
of an adult Fawn Great Dane.
Color can be part of a family's preference, but it should be considered
alongside the responsibilities of owning a rapidly growing giant-breed
dog. Duke's age, health records, living environment and long-term care
requirements are equally important considerations.

What 11 Weeks Means for Duke
Duke's age gives his new family an opportunity to continue building
the household habits that will matter as he becomes physically larger.
Short training sessions can focus on basic cues, handling, calm
movement through doors and appropriate behavior around people.
Consistency is especially useful for male Great Dane puppies because
the difference between their puppy size and adult size can be
substantial. Expectations that are easy to establish now can remain
useful throughout adolescence.

We do not assign Duke an exact sire and dam on this page without
matching that pairing to his records. Applicable pedigree information
can be provided with the documentation associated with him.

Preparing for a Male Great Dane
Duke will require equipment and living arrangements suited not just
to his present puppy size but to the large adult dog he can become.
Families should think ahead when choosing sleeping areas,
transportation arrangements, feeding equipment and secure spaces
inside and outside the home.
Nutrition and exercise during growth also deserve careful attention.
His new owner should work with a veterinarian to establish feeding,
body-condition and activity recommendations appropriate for a
developing giant-breed puppy.
