Penny's Fawn Great Dane Coloring
Fawn Great Danes have a warm coat color that creates a different
appearance from patterned varieties such as Merle, Brindle,
Harlequin and Mantle. Lighting and photography can influence how
the exact shade appears on a screen.
For that reason, Penny's gallery contains multiple photographs of
the same puppy. Families can view her actual coat while also
considering more important placement factors such as age, health
records, registration and readiness for a giant-breed dog.

Penny's Eight-Week Transition
Moving at eight weeks introduces Penny to a completely new routine.
Providing a predictable sleeping area, scheduled meals and frequent
house-training opportunities can help make the transition easier
to understand.
Training at this age can remain simple. Short introductions to her
name, gentle handling and basic walking equipment can gradually
become part of everyday life without overwhelming a young puppy.

rather than inferred from the dogs displayed on our Parents page.

Preparing for Penny's Growth
Penny may be small compared with an adult Great Dane today, but her
space and equipment requirements will change considerably as she
grows. Planning early can make those changes easier to manage.
Her future household can prepare suitable sleeping space,
transportation arrangements and secure areas while working with a
veterinarian on nutrition and body-condition monitoring during
giant-breed development.
