Zeus - Black Great Dane Puppy

Zeus's Black Great Dane Coat

Black Great Danes have a deep, dark coat that creates a distinct appearance without the larger contrasting patches seen in patterned colors such as Harlequin or Merle. Zeus's gallery shows his actual coat and current appearance from several views.

Families comparing Black Great Dane puppies should consider more than coat color alone. Age, health documentation, registration, future adult size and the family's ability to provide appropriate care all matter when choosing a puppy.

Zeus at 11 Weeks

Zeus is at an age when consistent household rules can begin becoming part of his daily routine. Short sessions involving leash introduction, handling, name recognition and calm movement can be continued without expecting adult-level concentration.

Establishing manageable habits while Zeus is young is especially important because a male Great Dane will become substantially larger and stronger than he is at eleven weeks.

Zeus's Health & Puppy Records

Zeus receives age-appropriate care before placement. His available records accompany him so his future veterinarian can review previous care and establish an appropriate continuing schedule.

Zeus's Breeding Program Background

Zeus comes from our registered Great Dane breeding program. Breed-relevant health considerations for adult dogs used in the program include hips, eyes, cardiac health and thyroid health.

An exact parent pairing is not assigned on this public profile unless it is matched to Zeus's individual records. This keeps pedigree information tied to the correct puppy rather than presenting an assumed sire and dam.

Preparing for Zeus's Adult Size

Zeus will need increasingly more room as he develops. Families should plan for an appropriately sized sleeping area, secure transportation, suitable walking equipment and household spaces that can accommodate a giant-breed dog.

His growth should be managed with appropriate nutrition rather than encouraging rapid weight gain. A veterinarian can help his future family monitor body condition, feeding and exercise throughout development.
