Meet Ruby
Ruby gives families searching for a Black Great Dane puppy a female
option among our current listings. Unlike patterned Great Dane colors,
her appearance is defined primarily by her dark coat, making her
individual photographs especially useful for viewing her current
features and overall coloring.
A puppy's color is only one part of the selection process. Prospective
owners should also consider the adult size of the breed, ongoing
veterinary care, training needs and whether their home is prepared
for a giant-breed dog.

Ruby's First Weeks at Home
At eight weeks, Ruby is entering a new stage where household routines
can begin taking shape. Her first days with a family should allow time
to become familiar with new people, sleeping arrangements, feeding
times and the areas where she is expected to toilet and rest.
Training at this age does not need to involve long sessions. Brief,
consistent experiences with name recognition, handling and simple
household expectations can provide a useful foundation for later
training.
Ruby's Health Documentation
Ruby receives age-appropriate care before placement. Her available
records are provided so her family can take accurate information to
their veterinarian instead of relying only on verbal descriptions
of previous puppy care.
- Veterinary health check
- Age-appropriate vaccination information
- Deworming information
- Health certificate
- AKC registration paperwork
- 2-year health guarantee

Family-Raised Foundation
Mainely Danes raises puppies in a family-oriented environment rather
than treating them as anonymous inventory. Everyday exposure to a
home setting provides a practical starting point, while the new
family continues Ruby's socialization and training after placement.
No breeder can replace the role of the future owner in a puppy's
development. Ruby's long-term progress will depend on continued
training, appropriate care, veterinary guidance and positive
experiences in her new home.

Ruby's Parent & Program Information
Ruby comes from our registered Great Dane breeding program. Health
considerations for adult breeding dogs include breed-relevant areas
associated with hips, eyes, cardiac health and thyroid health.
Her exact parent pairing is not displayed unless it is matched to
Ruby's records. This keeps her individual profile from presenting
unverified pedigree details. Applicable information can accompany
her documentation.
