Cleo is a 9-week-old female Black Great Dane puppy with brown eyes. Her dark coat gives her the classic solid appearance associated with Black Great Danes, while her individual photographs allow families to view her current markings and features.
At nine weeks, Cleo is beginning an important period of adjustment and continued learning. A consistent household schedule can help establish feeding, sleeping, house-training and handling routines while she is still at an early stage of Great Dane development.
Cleo's available vaccination, deworming, health and registration documentation accompanies her placement.
Black Great Danes are recognized for their predominantly dark coat, creating a distinctly different appearance from patterned colors such as Harlequin, Merle, Mantle and Brindle.
Photographs can vary depending on natural light, indoor lighting and camera exposure. Cleo's gallery therefore uses several images of the same puppy so families can view her current appearance rather than relying on a generic Black Great Dane photograph.
Explore Black Great Danes →Nine weeks remains an early developmental stage. Cleo's new family can build consistency around scheduled meals, rest periods, house-training opportunities and short introductions to basic household expectations.
As a Great Dane, her physical size will change quickly. Introducing appropriate handling and walking equipment while she is young can help prepare for routine care as she becomes larger.
Cleo receives age-appropriate care before placement. Her available records travel with her so a future veterinarian can review her puppy history and determine the appropriate continuing schedule.
Cleo comes from our registered Great Dane breeding program. Breed-relevant health considerations for adult breeding dogs include areas such as hips, eyes, cardiac health and thyroid health.
Cleo's exact parent pairing is not assumed from the dogs displayed online. Her puppy-specific pedigree information should remain associated with her individual documentation.
Meet Our Great Dane Parents →A nine-week-old Great Dane requires considerably less physical space than an adult, but families should plan for the breed's future size from the beginning. Sleeping space, transportation, secure areas and walking equipment should all be considered as Cleo grows.
Her veterinarian can also help monitor nutrition, body condition and appropriate activity throughout giant-breed puppy development.
